Lauren Woolf - CEO of Mrs. Woolf and former CMO of Ogilvy & Mather, South Africa


Lauren Woolf has a career in advertising and marketing that spans over 20 years, of which most was spent in leadership roles at Ogilvy & Mather, British American Tobacco, and in the marketing services company she founded and sold in Switzerland, Antipod. Her last corporate role was that of Chief Marketing & Talent Officer for Ogilvy & Mather South Africa.

With a passion for creativity from artist to agency, Lauren’s mission is to support creative individuals and entities of all kinds, helping ensure that they thrive and survive through the complexity of today and tomorrow. Her experience and special interest in marketing and how creative organizations grow have led her into a career working with companies with ideas and innovation as their lifeblood. Lauren is the CEO and Founder of Mrs Woolf (https://www.mrswoolf.co.za/), an entrepreneurial venture committed to the sustainable growth and development of creative companies. She is also the Founder of The Creative Leadership Academy (TCLA)

An active member of the local and global creative community, Lauren is a patron, and board member of the Artists Proof Studio (APS) as well as a trainer for Business Arts South Africa (BASA). Lauren is also the co-founder of The Princess Connection, an NPO that donates previously loved formalwear through pop-up-shops so that disadvantaged Matric girls can shop with dignity.

In 2016, Lauren received an Executive MBA through The Berlin School of Creative Leadership. Her paper was presented in a Thesis Showcase in Berlin in August 2016.
